It's an addition features by Perfect World, act as companion when you leveling or anything. Every character should get it for free from faily NPC. The genies are non-corporeal entities that can assist in battle by casting buffs, debuffs and using new and unique abilities.
Do we call it fairy?
Nope. It's genie until level lvl80 or something like that.
Where can i get it?
You can get it from any major city like ADC Ancient Dragon City south gate from Fairy Apostle (will update coordinate later). It's visible from far away because of the aura. See?
Do i need to feed genie?
No, you don't. But in other words yes if you cast skill from genie. Each cast will consume genie HP. You need to "feed" if you want to cast. Genie wont die.
How to level up genie?
EXP Gaining with Genie has been changed so that Genies can now gain EXP while you kill monsters or hand in quests. Each Genie, while equipped, will gain 10% of the total XP gained. This is in addition to the EXP your character gains (Your character will not gain 10% less EXP). When your Genie reaches the same level as your character, and the Genie reaches 99% of its current level, the 10% EXP gain will be disabled. The old method of infusing EXP or Spirit, or the EXP cubes still remain.
How many types are genie?
Basically, genie come with 4 types. Each with its own color. But you couldn't choose it. It's randomly given by NPC. Each type start with different stat:
Aurea - Start with Str +5, Agi +3, Con +5, Int +15
Albus - Starts with Str +3, Agi +5, Con +15, Int +5.
Viridis - Starts with Str +5, Agi +15, Con +5, Int +3.
Caerulea - Starts with Str +15, Agi +5, Con +3, Int +5.
Stats Descriptions:
STR : Determine damage out put of skills. 1 point of str adds about 1% damage to a genies skills.
AGI : Determine effect of skills -duration. 1 point of agi increases the range, duration and success rate of status effects
CON : MP pool. 1 point of CON increases the max energy of your genie by 1 MP.
INT : MP Recovery and the skills learnable (each 50 INT = Increase MP recovery rate by 1/sec).
Can i get each one?
You can get extra genie but you can only equip one at a time. Go to Fairy Apostle at any major city and give her 3 mirage stones.
Can i trade away genie?
Tradeable mode option is one in which allows for other players to trade or sell there genies. Click the Trade State button in the Genie interface menu in order to access this feature. It will take 7 days to convert your Genie into to TRADE READY state. By default, a Genie is set to NO-Trade state. In this state, the Genie cannot be traded, sold, or discarded.” From Trade to NO-Trade is instant, but it will take another 7 days if you do decide to trade it again.
So which one is good for me?
Each of it got different first skill and in my opinion, it is useless. You will drop it eventually and learn new skill that can assist and compensate weaknesses of a class. Example for archer tree of protection for healing, Thunder storm for extra large damage. All genies can learn the same skills. What matter is the first 15 stats pump into a genie that make it different. Example genie Viridis has +15 Agi at level 1. However, choosing Aurea is the most popular one among other genies. In later part as you level up, the most important aspect to look at a genie is Random Add-on (or lucky point).
What does Random Add-on/ lucky point mean to my genie?
Genies gain lucky point every 10 level apart from one level gain 1 point for stat . Each 10 level gained extra stats between 1-10 lucky points. This lucky point helps determine the final stat and out look of your genie. For example; genie that gained lucky point of 10 points every 10 level mean it will have 200 point to allocate to it stats at Level 100 as compare to genie that has only 110 stats. This is totally random.
The higher the random stats determine not only the look of your genie but the combat ability as well as rareness. It can be classified as follow (mouse over the genie in your inventory-lucky point bar):

Orange bar color indicates the genie gained 10 lucky points per every 10 level. 8 Skill Slots
Gold bar color indicates the genie gained lucky point between 61 – 99 points. 5~8 Skill Slots
Purple bar color indicates the genie gained lucky point between 51- 60 points. 5 Skill Slots
Blue bar color indicates the genie gained lucky point between 41- 50 points. 4 Skill Slots
Green bar color indicates this genie gained lucky point between 10 – 40 points. 4 Skill Slots
I wanna let my genie learn skill but where does SP come from?
Genie learning of skill require SP and its taken from your character. Yes, genie just gain experience while combat together with you but not sp. So if you wanna let genie learn new skill, it will suck from you. (ok taken from you)
How many skills do genies come with?
By default, it has 3 skills. However, based on your Genie's Random Add-on/Lucky Points, you can receive more skill slots up to 8.
Lucky Points 0-50: 4 Skill Slots
Lucky Points 51-70: 5 Skill Slots
Lucky Points 71-80: 6 Skill Slots
Lucky Points 81-90: 7 Skill Slots
Lucky Points 91 or more: 8 Skill Slots
Five Element of a Genie?
According to RedsRose, In addition to increasing their base stats, players can upgrade a Genie’s elemental affinity, with any of the five elements: Metal, Wood, Earth, Water and Fire. The elemental affinity will become important because different affinities will be the key to unlocking certain skills. Genies can have a maximum of 26 affinity points. If need be, a player can reset the Genie’s affinity points at Fairy Apostle NPC in any of the five main cities.
Elemental stats:
-Genies begin with 1 elemental point.
-Gain 1 elemental point each 5 level.
-Gain 1 elemental point every level above 100
-Maximum allocation point for each elemental stat is 8
-Total elemental point gain is 26
-Elemental stats can be reset to 0 with respect scroll (genie).
User must be aware ; One interesting aspect of Genie skills is that some are location specific. Some Earth skills can be used only while on the ground, many water skills can only be used in Water and some Metal skills can only be used while in flight. Additionally, some skills are race specific - Strong Wall is reserved for werebeast only & etc.
Every Genie skill can learn up to 10 levels. The majority of the level one skills will have a requisite one point of a certain element (this is the same concept as many of our classes builds, you cannot open some skills without have a chain of others opened, even if they are only at level one).
Additional info for who need:
1) When you learn skill for a genie, it will cost SP and Money. Maximum number of skills that genie can learn is 8. You can delete the skill you don't want at the new NPC with free charge, but your SP and Money gone forever.
2) There are 4 types of equipments your genie can buy. For now, only 2 items for each type. 1 item cost 1M to buy, another cost 3M. All of these item +1 or 2 point more to your genie's stats.
3) Depends on how you spend the element stat of the genie, it can learn and cast certain skill.Choose your skills wisely!
4) You genie's color changes, depend on how you build its stat, and when it reach lvl 100, it color will change one more time, depends on how many random stat points your genie gets every 10 lvl, over the total possible random points. RANDOM POINTS YOU CAN GET DEPENDS ON YOUR GENIE'S... LOYALTY POINT ( how to increase this point... as for now, I got no idea ^^)
The color just like you weapon: dark orange is best, gold is good, purple is ok, green is... trade your genie.
5)Over all, if there are 1000 genie, there could be 1000 ways to build. The genie is kinda new, so there isn't any perfect way to build it yet. It depends on what skill you want to learn, on your class, on your favorite color (eg. girls like pink a lot), on your pocket...
